Jupiter is the second restaurant of Jess Shadbolt and Clare de Boer, the talents behind the acclaimed Soho restaurant King. To conceptualize this 4000-square-foot space within Rockefeller Center’s bustling concourse, Workstead asked the chefs to reflect on their favorite dining experiences. The studio captured the spirit of Shadbolt and de Boer’s favorite dining rooms, in turn, by infusing Jupiter’s dining, bar, and antipasto areas with the energy of both a sidewalk cafe and a chef’s table. Studied and nonchalant, the unique result encourages guests to feel invigorated and socially at ease.
