PROJECT OVERVIEW 

Workstead is designing every aspect of this ground-up residence, and coordinating with renowned Landscape Designer Miranda Brooks for conceptual master planning. The scope includes complete building design, interior design and decorating. 

DETAILS 

Recalling a rambling English hamlet, a collection of buildings gather in a field connected by a run of low stone. Circling a fallow courtyard individual gables point above the stone and sit as distinct structures anchoring the residence: The Corner House, The Gable House, The Car House, The Snug. Familiar surfaces repeat throughout the compound - parged stone, reclaimed beams, brass, limestone, copper and shingles. Interior nooks carve out space for resting and dining and while creating well appointed vignettes of the vast property.
